This comment is for Sharin Apostolou,

I see in your bio that you are a Carnegie Mellon Vocal Performance graduate. My daughter Lauren received her FAT envelope last week with acceptance to the CMU Vocal Performance program as a soprano. Her interests currently lean more to musical theater than opera, although she loves classical music and is trained in that method.

My question is how did the University help you to take your education and beat the odds to sing professionally? My daughter has two weeks to decide where to take her voice. If you don't mind sharing, why did you choose to go to Carnegie and would you make the same choice now having gone through the program?

Thank you for listening,

Kathryn Boyle
