Describe what you do for Portland Opera
I work with the generous individuals, corporations, and small businesses who support Portland Opera through philanthropic gifts. Additionally, I act as the staff liaison for Portland Opera's Young Patron Society.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to own a used book store filled with cozy reading nooks.
What is your favorite Portland Opera memory?
I love to attend the Opera a la Cart performance at Elk Cove Vineyards each summer. The beautiful music, combined with the stunning scenery, delicious wine, and good company is such a dreamy way to spend a summer evening!
Do you have hike/park/scenic view in Oregon that inspires you?
It's hard to narrow these down. I feel especially nostalgic for places that burned last year, including Opal Creek Wilderness and the Upper Clackamas River- but I'm moved to see how these places come back and change and how their beauty will be different but still inspiring for our children.
Do you have a favorite local visual artist/musician/filmmaker/performer that you think everyone should know about?
I've recently been inspired by No-No Boy and the ways he uses music to take a deep and challenging look at history- and current circumstances. https://www.nonoboyproject.com/about
