Describe what you do for Portland Opera
My primary responsibility is to ensure that everyone, from the soloists to the chorus and orchestra, is on the same page musically. In the opera world, there are often several different versions (or editions) of every piece - sometimes with very different music. Once the decision has been made as to what version Portland Opera will produce, it is my job to communicate this to all parties involved as well as secure the necessary music and permissions, for copyrighted works, in order to make that production a reality. Additionally, I manage the orchestra and all things (non-vocal) instrument related.

Outdoors - hiking, backpacking, XC skiing, or generally enjoying the beauty of the PNW.
What has your favorite quarantine activity been?
Baking - I've baked a lot of cakes during quarantine.
