Describe what you do for Portland Opera
I work with an amazing team in Marketing and External Affairs, focusing on communications strategy, social media, publications (such as creating our annual Toi, Toi, Toi magazine), editing, and developing website and e-mail marketing content. I love storytelling and sharing all the incredible work this company does. I am also a vocal advocate for the Oxford comma.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be the singing voice of a Disney Princess. Honestly, I think I still want to be this when I grow up.

Hiking, stand up paddle boarding, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. I also love a good book, walking around my neighborhood, trying out a new recipe, or binge watching a series on Netflix.
What is the most interesting or unusual job you've ever had?
When I was in high school, I spent one holiday season working at a kiosk at the mall that sold personalized children's CDs. Every 30 minutes, a chime would notify us that it was time to do the Hokey Pokey. Needless to say, the surrounding shops were not our biggest fans...
