Describe your role with Portland Opera

I am relatively new in the Portland Opera Chorus, but I’ve been an Alternate For the last 2 years almost and have been in a few productions, my favorite of which was Verdi’s La Traviata.

What music/book/movie/show/poem/place/moment is currently inspiring you?

I’ve been trying to finish reading every Kurt Vonnegut novel and I’m on my last one right now which is Jailbird. If you haven’t read Cat's Cradle though then you definitely should it’s my favorite book.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A professional musician! Which I for the most part am.

In my free time, you can usually find me...

Practicing, watching movies, playing video games painting or reading a good book.

What has your favorite quarantine activity been?

I’ve been getting back into painting which I haven’t done in a few years. I really like painting along with Bob Ross.

What is your favorite Portland Opera memory?

Getting to sing with Weston Hurt in La Traviata. I listened to a few of his recordings in college to help me learn the music for operas I was in so it was cool to actually meet him.
