Describe what you do for Portland Opera?
As Patron Services Manager, I bridge the connection between our artists and their most essential collaborator - you! I oversee ticketing operations, analyze data to guide strategic decisions, and advocate for patrons at every stage of their experience with Portland Opera.
What is your favorite Portland Opera memory?
One standout memory from Portland Opera is The Shining, where enthusiastic patrons arrived in costume and got to meet the composer and librettist—moments like that make my work so rewarding.
What's your favorite Portland coffee shop, brewery, cidery, or winery?
It’s hard to pick just one favorite brewery in Portland! For IPAs, I usually go with Stormbreaker or Breakside, and for lager lovers, Wayfinder is never a miss. But more often than not, you’ll find me at the Double Mountain Taproom in Woodstock or at pFriem’s new Tasting Room in Milwaukie.
What is the most interesting/unusual job you've ever had?
I once spent a summer organizing tours of the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi. Visitors are advised never to squat in front of the baby elephants - they might mistake you for a ball!
