Creating a legacy.  

Through legacy giving, we recognize those special friends of Portland Opera who have made a significant gift to Portland Opera's endowment, or have included the opera in their will or estate plans.

Anyone who loves Portland Opera can make a legacy gift, ensuring great operatic performances and experiences now, and for generations to come. 

When you inform us of your intent to include Portland Opera in your will or estate plan, you join the family. If you wish to be acknowledged for your gift, you will be listed in Portland Opera programs and an invitation to our annual Legacy Society dinner. You may also choose to remain anonymous and we will keep your gift in strictest confidence. 

Your legacy gift may be designated to help fund a specific program or it can support the company’s general operations. Our knowing your intentions ensures that your gift will be honored according to your wishes.
