Arts for All | Oregon Trail Card

Oregon Trail Card holders can give us a call at 503-241-1802 at any point in the season to take advantage of the Arts for All program. We offer up to two $5.00 tickets per Oregon Trail Card for each performance while seats last. We’ll ask for your Oregon Trail Card number the first time you call; after that you are set up to get your tickets for the rest of the season!

U.S. Armed Forces Personnel & Veterans

We offer a number of free tickets through Veteran Tickets Foundation. Information on how to become involved with the program can be found at vettix.org. We also offer $20.00 tickets to service personnel with a valid Military ID.

Young Patron Society

The Young Patron Society is Portland Opera's program for young arts lovers and theatergoers between the ages of 21-40. Learn more here.

Tickets on the day of the performance

We encourage folks to get their tickets early! But if you’re getting your tickets the day of the event, our box office opens 2 hours before every performance at the venue. All of our community discount tickets are available at the box office as long as there are seats remaining and you bring the necessary ID with you. We don’t offer “rush” tickets, but if you don’t meet any of our community discount requirements, we can usually help find a seat in your price range.

Accessibility & Audience Services
Audio Description Services

Sunday performance throughout our season will include audio description services of the visual and physical events on stage for patrons who are blind or have low vision. Listening devices are also available at Keller Auditorium, the Newmark Theatre, and the Hampton Opera Center for all performances.

Captions

Each performance is visually translated with live English captions projected above the stage.

Accessible Seating

If you require space for a mobility device, seating for an assistance companion, would like recommendations for low-vision seating areas, or help choosing the best seats for your needs, please give us a call at 503-241-1802 and we are happy to help.

Additional information on accessibility at the Keller Auditorium and Newmark Theatre can be found at portland5.com/visitor-info/accessibility, including drop-off zone locations, information on reserving a courtesy wheelchair, service animal information, and resources for patrons with sensory needs.

Third-party Ticket Outlets

Portland Opera is the only designated seller of Portland Opera tickets. Unfortunately there are many online marketplaces, ticket sellers, and resellers that claim to sell our tickets, however they often overcharge, sell invalid tickets, or do not deliver the tickets that were promised.

Portland Opera will never charge exorbitant fees, ticket insurance, or delivery fees. Valid Portland Opera ticket purchases will always receive an order confirmation email from concierge@portlandopera.org and no other sender.

If you think that you’ve purchased fraudulent tickets, please contact our Patrons Services team at 503-241-1802 or email us at concierge@portlandopera.org.
