Describe what you do for Portland Opera.

I assist patrons in navigating and selecting which performances, packages or tickets best suit them and their unique needs. I also aim to provide excellent concierge service, answering any questions that may arise over the phone, or at the performance hall.

In my free time, you can usually find me...

Styling hair for weddings around Oregon and Washington. I worked behind the chair for almost 10 years, and now I style on the side for fun. You can also find me wandering aimlessly through nature, mushroom foraging, biking, camping, cooking or baking something, reading, or checking out whatever is playing at Clinton Street Theater.

What is your favorite Portland Opera memory?

I don’t have many yet, but I am very excited at the opportunity to make more memories with Portland Opera. But thus far my favorite has been coming to see La Traviata in 2018. It was such a beautiful production, and I got to support my friend and colleague, Chris Kim, who occasionally plays with the pit orchestra!

What's your favorite bike path/greenway/route in Portland?

I love to bike all over the city, and there are too many fantastic routes to choose just one favorite! But one that I have particularly enjoyed is the NE Ramble Route. You bike through the stunning Alameda neighborhood, up to Rocky Butte, and then through Alberta Arts district. I personally love to stop at either Extracto or Proud Mary for a coffee before finishing my loop!
