Describe your role with Portland Opera
I joined the Portland Opera Chorus for the 2017 season onward. I was also a Supertitles Coordinator for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
What music/book/movie/show/poem/place/moment is currently inspiring you?
I am inspired by how much art is being produced! Before the pandemic, I was at the theater at least a couple or few days per week, oftentimes volunteering if not onstage. As I check on Portland's theater companies, so much innovation and creativity is happening as we're learning to adapt, including live performances online. I am thrilled to see artists working and art being shared.
In my free time, you can usually find me...
Going for walks or hikes, playing board games, mushroom foraging, or watching music/theater performances.
What has your favorite quarantine activity been?
Watching the Met Opera nightly streams and getting familiar with more operas!
