Performing music in other arts organizations, practicing, hiking, camping, backpacking, or setting up on locations for landscape photography.
What is your favorite Portland Opera memory?
There’s so many to pinpoint just one. Being hired for this job and joining a world class administrative staff is still very exciting for me. But my favorite memories are those when I substituted as a musician (Double Bass) for the productions of Gounod’s Faust, Verdi’s La Traviata, and Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. Being a part of these productions are some very memorable experiences that will stay with me for a long time.
