Describe your role with Portland Opera
As a Board member, I provide oversight of the Portland Opera’s financial sustainability as well as its performance against its strategic, artistic and programmatic ambitions as memorialized in the strategic plan. I also serve on some Board committees that provide insight and support to specific areas of the organization.
How did you get involved with the opera?
My parents were opera lovers and passed that love to me.
What are you most looking forward to?
I am so looking forward to Portland Opera putting great, engaging, though-provoking and entertaining on stage.
What would you like our audience to know?
A friend of mine says often “The human voice is the most beautiful instrument in the world”. Listening to opera convinces me that is true.
