Portland Opera’s intimate World Trade Center Theatre is proud to host renowned baritone Robert Sims as he gathers well-known vocalists for a powerful program. Highlighting the history of the Spiritual and its influence over American musical genres of all types, The Majesty of the Spiritual features arrangements by Lena McLin, Roland Carter, Jacqueline Hairston & Uzee Brown, Jr., in a stirring production sure to enrich the mind, touch the heart, and inspire the soul.
